LECKIE DEFEATS GUNN. (Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, last night. A boxing contest conducted under the auspices of the Dunedin Boxing Association was hold at His Majesty's Theatre, which was packed to the doors, tonight, between Harry Gunn (8.1.".). nnd Johnnie Leckio (8.12), The Dunedin man, who was making his first appearance as a professional, knocked out Dunn in the sixth round. A contest between Tommy Griffiths (.5.7-J), and Hector Decide (S.lDi),, went the full 10 rounds, and Griffiths won comfort ably on points.
B(>M BARDIER WELLS ATTEMPTING A COMEBACK. LONDON, June 10. Bombardier Wells, who is approaching 40 years of age, will attempt a new comeback, says the Daily Mail. He will meet the 20-year-old Herman heavyweight, Sandwina, at the Oiympia, on June 30, before the W'alker-Milligan contest.
