The Waimea arrived from Napier fliis morning and discharged her Auckland cargo in the roadstead. She is expected to complete Jind sail this evening for Auckland direct to load again for Napier and Gisborne. The Kumo, loading for Napier and Gisborne, is expected to leave Dunedin to-day for Oamaru. thence Timnm, Lyttelton and Wellington. The Karori is to load coal at Westport about Tuesday next for Napier, Gisborne and Auckland.

Tin- Cumberland completed her Homeward loading here yesterday and sailed last evening for Napier.

The Tokoa Ls due at Gisbonie about July 21 to load, frozen meat and general cargo for United Kingdom ports. The I Aorangi,. from Vancouver, Honolulu, Suva, and Auckland, was due at Sydney to-day.

The Maunganui, from Sydney, Auckland, Suva, and Honolulu, was due at Vancouver yesterday.

The Tahiti, from Frisco, was due at Papeete to-day. She is due at Rarotonga on .Tune 28 and arrives at Wellington on July 4.

The Tiroa leaves Auckland on Tuesday for Hicks Bay, Tokomaru Bay, and Gisborne. The Elsie Mary sails hence on Monday for Auckland to load for Gisborne.

The Gunbar left yesterday for Waikokopu and Napier. She proceeds later to Wellington. The Pakura, which left last night for Waikokopu and Wellington, loads at the latter port on Monday and Tuesday for Napier and Gisborne. She is due here on Friday next. The Awahou sailed last night for Tokomaru Bay and Auckland. She loads in Auckland on Monday and Tuesday for Gisborne, being due here on Thursday.

The Koutunui'is loading in Wellington for Waikokopu, where she is due on Monday next. The Parera proceeds from Waikokopu to Greymouth to load coal for Gisborne.

A general improvement in the weather in the North Island was reported .this morning with light north-westerly breezes predominating. The barometer had risen considerably. Temperatures at 9 o'clock were: Auckland 56 degrees, Tauranga 4(i, Opotiki 51, East Cape 55, Gisborne and Napier 4!>, Waugamii and Wellington 52. Rough was were rcpql'tcd at Castlcpoint, and moderate swell at East Cape; moderate to smooth elsewhere.
