POVERTY BAY A. AND P. SHOWS 'Die Poverty Bay A. and P. Association has made great strides during the past five, years, and the degree of success that has been attained is reflected in figures given by the president, Mr. R. W. Coop, nt the annual meeting this morning. During the nast five years, said My. Coop, the credit balances from the annual shows were as follows : 1922, £ll2 18s 2d; 1923, £436 3s 3d; 1924, £256 8s sd; 1925, £476 5s lOd; 1926, £572 os 6d.—Total profit for five years. £1854 4s 2d. In 1917, added the president, the Rinarata mortgage stood at £2400. In 1922; this amount had been reduced to £1785; now the figure stood ;il £650 and there was a total of £3OB in the Savings Bank. These figures, the president said, reflected great credit upon the association and the conduct of its affairs.
