At the tennis tournament at Wimbledon in the first round of the mixed doubles, Lvcett and Mrs. Lycett beat Kleiiischroth and Miss Ausseni, 6-3, 6-2; Borotra and Madam Beurdes beat J...M. Hillvard and Mrs. Satterthwaite, 4-6. 6-3, 6-1. In the second round of the men's doubles Austin and Lycett beat Danet and (3entun (France), 7-5. 3-6, 6-3, 6-1; Timmer and Bryan beat Froitzheim and Kreuzer, 4-6, 6-2, 3-6, 7.-5. 6-2; Tilden and Hunter bent; Ureig and Codfree, 6-0. 10-8, the latter pair retiring owing to G"l?e.ig injuring his ankle; Kozeluh and Gottlieb heat Boussus and La r dry, 6-2, 9 ; 7, 6-4. In the third round of .the ladies singles, Miss Htflen Wills beat Miss Eileen Bennett, 7-5, 6-3. In the fourth round, Miss .loan Fry beat "Miss Bonman, 2-6, 6-4, 9-7; Mrs. l'eacoek beat Miss Maltby, 6-3, 6-2.
In the fourth round of the men's singles, Brugnon beat Kingshw,, 4-6. 6-3, 6-2, 6-2; Corbet beat- Kehrling', 8-6, 6-3. 6-2.
