In the third round of the ladies' singles, Mrs. Peacock, South Africa, beat Miss Clarke 6-3, 6-1 : Miss Culver bent Miss Ridley 6-4, 63; Miss Harvey lieaf Mile. Consloslavlos 6-4, 64; Miss Nulhall beat Mrs. Mallory, 2-6, 6-2, 6-0. In the fourth round, Signorina De Alvarez beat Mrs. Mavrogo'rdafo, 6-3. 60.
