LOST FOR TWO DAYS
FRUTLESS SEARCH FOR WECKED AEROPLANE. MELBOURNE, June 9. Few people realise how lucky Sergeant Denny was when he crashed in the forest, not far from Whitfield, on his way back from the opening of Parliament at Canberra. A few days ago three Air Force men on leave decided to spend their leave in searching for Denny's plane. On the second day of their search they got "bushed," and when found to-day had been without food for 24 hours, and had spent two bitterly cold nights in the ranges. ________________
