Bursting in a door of a, blazing house at Ash vale (Surrey), firemen found the sole occupant, Miss Seager, suffocated, with a dead Chow dog lying across her body, which was guarded by 13 other pedigree Clioav dogs, gasping for breath and nearly dead. It was some time before the firemen could remove the body.
