CHALLENGES FOR GOODSELL (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) (Received June 23, 11 a.m.) VANCOUVER, June 22. Major Goodsell stated at San Francisco'that it is uncertain with whom ho will nest race, but likely contenders are Alf Burns, and the English champion, Bert Barry. The latter recently wrote stating that he expected to put lip the initial deposit, but Goodsell has not yet been advised this has been done. Burns deposit had been made so that he was first in line for a race. Goodsell will fix Oakland estuary as the place for the race, but cannot row before August, as Burns is in Australia and Barry in England.
