ANOTHER LEAGUE PLAYER LIKELY TO GO Since .the English League decided to lift the residential qualification of two years imposed on Australian and New Zeulang League footballers, two clubs in England have approached New Zealand players for their services. Already three prominent footballers —L. Brown and B, Davidson, of Auckland, and L. Mason, of Canterbury—have, accepted .the liberal terms offered by tho Wigun Club, and the trio propose to leave for England on June 29. Davidson's services, together with those of Wilson-Hall, have been sought by aiVbther English club.. On Saturday Davidson received the following cablegram: "Want-you hero. Cable lowest terms yourself and Wilson-Hall.—Heyhuist, Halifax.'' Immediately on receipt of the cablegram, Wilson-Hall, who is at present playing for Hornby uuib, Christchurch, was communicated with, and ho has made an offer to the Halifax Club. Should his terms be accepted Wilson-Hall will go to England with the other three players.
