Napier.—Arrived at 11.50 a.m. to-day, Koutunui, and at 11.55, Koau, from Gi shorn e. , At an enthusiastic meeting it was decided to form a branch of the League of Nations' ' Union at Opotiki. The Mayor, Mr. G. S. Moody, occupied the chair. Mr. A. Braae explained the aims of the union. The meeting was then addressed by the ft on. J. B. Cow and the Rev. David Herd. The following ' officers were elected: President, Hon. J, B. <?ow: vice-presidents, Mr. U. S. Moody and the Hew .1. & Draper; secretary, Rev. David" Herd; treasurer, Mr. G. B. Murray; committee, officers and Messrs. A. Braae, N. Pattle, and T. Steele. —Special.
