MILLIONAIRE MURDERER
INFANT CONVICTS FATHER LONDON, June 5. The Monte Carlo Criminal Court has accepted the evidence of a three-years-old child, the only direct witness, against her father, M. Etienne Blangino, a millionaire hotelkeeper, who was sentenced to 20 years' imprisonment for the murder of his wife and daughter. The murdered women were found dead in bed, witli Blangino, bloodstained, standing nearby. When the police arrived they questioned the baby, and she babbled, "Why did daddy cut my mummy and sister?"
Despite Blangino's protests of innocence, the jury regarded the baby's prattling as conclusive evidence.
