(Herald Correspondent.) The district Hunt Club on Saturday had a- great day's outing, taking the dogs over the OpoliQ estate anil the estate of Mr. Tombleson. A large number of liiintsmen look part, and a crowd of cars followed as closely as possible. It is hoped in the near future that a huntsman will Lie appointed to take charge of the lea ni. Mr. Hooper, a tourist from the Waikato, and the manager of aAbutter factory there, reports a record season. At the factory he represents there was an increase of 33 per cent over the complete season, and during April an increase of 58 per cent, over April of last year, and an increase of 87 per cent, for the month of May. Mr. ttoopetattributes the great increase to three factors, i.e., the season, top-dressing, and testing.
