A parly of Masterton members of the Castlepoint Improvement Committee visited Castlepoint to finalise the plan of improvements proposed at the seaside resort. A sub-committee was appointed to arrive at the cost of the various works, and to submit the proposals to the local and Castlepoint committees for approval. If the work is sanctioned it will be put in hand before the end of the present month. The cleaning up qf the cemetery and the planting of trees in front of the Rost Office will be the first matters to receive attention.
