Bandits Try to Burn Street Car

A group of gunmen held up a street car in the suburb of Avellaneda, Buenos Aires, mistreated passengers and tried to burn up the car, but were frustrated by police. They escaped. Police in the suburbs of Alsina discovered a large unexploded bomb near a railroad bridge. Both incidents, it is believed, were the work of sympathisers of Sacco and Vanzetti, radical agitators who were sentenced to death by a Massachusetts court.
