MONTHLY MEETING The inonLlily meeting of ihe Gisborne Land Board was held to-day, the Commissioner of Crown Lands, Mr. E. 11. Farnie, presiding. There were also present: Messrs. J. 11. Reid, R. 11. Wickstoed. G. (k Donovan, and A. G. Nolan. The following business was dealt with : Nonpayment of rent. —Section block X, Tiiahu S.D.. area 781 ac Application for temporary tenancy. — Section 2, block X, Waioeka, lZ4oae., formerly R. Beaufoy; applicant, A. U. Gcllert. —Granted lease for three months. Re-opening of forfeited section 2, block ,X, Waioeka, 1240 ac—Deferred; application to he made to adjoining owner. Nonpayment of rent. —Section 1. block Fill A, Tarainarama, 1968uc.—No action at present. Reduction' of rent on education reserve lease.—Section 32, block 1, TWanganui, 'ssac. —Conditional reduction for one year granted. ' Application for reduction in rent.— Mrs. S. C. Morrow, sections 57 and 38, I’atulahi suburbs, 12ac. —Reduced to £27 for live years.
