WOMEN’S PLAN TO FIN AN ACE A CLUB. PARIS, Fob. 20. A new club fyr woman, in the course of formation in Paris, and which lias found itself short of funds, has a novel plan for raising money. The club proposes to install baccarat tables in the wailing room, where men friends and husbands will wait, for members on whom they call. , These gaming tables will take a double per contago, one for the Govern nent and the other for the club funds. The club is for women belonging to society and the, arts, who find the rules of existing women’s clubs too narrow. It is stated that the Queen of Rumania lias accepted the honorary presidency. The subscription has been provisinnally lixed at £l2 a yflar. Members will find a modern and up-to-date club, occupying three Hours of a building on one of the .Grand Boulevards. It will include an American bar, a beauty parlor presided over by a star of the French cinema world, and a hairdresser’s establishment*
