WIRELESS DOCTOR'S FEE
LONDON, Feb. 2. Dr. Le Sieur Weir, surgeon in the liner Voltaire, has received a £2O cheque for a wireless diagnosis and treatment of a patient suffering from appendicitis. The patient was a member of the crew of the British cargo steamer Speaker, whose captain broadcast an appeal to any ship carrying a doctor. Dr. Weir, in a series of messages across the Equator wirelessed'his advice. Two months later, when ho had almost forgotten the incident, Dr. Weir was presented'in New York with the cheque by a representative of the. Harrison Line, owners of the Speaker.
