KYOGLE SHOOTING AFFRAY

SYDNEY, January 16. As the result of a shooting affray in a railway camp near Ivyogle, near the Queensland border, three men and one woman were injured, and seven men were arrested. At least 50 shots were fired. All the victims are expectee to recover. (Received Jan. 17, 11 a.m.) SYDNEY, Jan. 17. The Kvogle shooting was caused by a number of undesirables camping near the railway works. This was resented by the workers, and resulted in considerable friction, which culminated when a number of men visited the railway camp at night. There was a free fight, m which sticks and bricks were free.y used, and as the fight proceeded revolvers were utilised by both sides. The police rushed to the scene from Kyogle, and arrested three men. Later they made two more arrests.
