IMPROVEMENT IN PRICES BUSINESS BETTER (Special to the HeraUU " . AUCKLAND, this day. The feeling of depression occasioned by the low price of butter, recognised as the foundation of business "in this province, has been greatly relieved by the sharp recovery during the past fortnight. :At 1665/the price i.r still 6s below the rate ruling during the second week of December last year, but it was then falling rapidly after a' temporary spurt brought about by the shipping strike, and before Christmas it was down to 1625.
