RICCARTON TRAINING NOTES (Special to the Herald.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. Rapier has made great strides since tho New Zealand Cup mooting and tho best has yet to bo scou of the brilliant flreyspear horse. Ho, registered a good performance at Rioearton yesterday by having a slight advantage over Fresco after galloping seven furlongs, with Beau Gosto well beaten off.
