KAHUTIA CLUB. , The fourth round of the Dan Barry Memorial Shield competition was played on the Kahutia green on Saturday afternoon, with the following results:—• N. .Cowie, C. E. Robinson, Mason, and Jenkins (skip) 20 defeated G. Downey, E. Robertson, Campbell, Harkess (skip; 16. This game created great interest, as both teams were on a level footing with three wins each. Jenkins obtained a lead in the early stages, but Harkess by scoring four on the l£th head made the game interesting, the score standing 11 to 9in Jenkins' favor. The latter scored on the next three heads—lß to 9. On the remaining six heads Harkess scored a 2,1, 3, and 1, while Jenkins registered two singles. Hogg, Hepburn, Town, Rothwell (skip) 18 defeated Ashworth, H. Smith, P. Smith, and Sawyer (skip) 16. Sawyer was two up when the last -head was entered upon, but Rothwell, scoring four, robbed him of victory by two points. Solvander, Kay, Vincent, Power (skip) 18 defeated Shorter, Paine, Morse, and FJavell (skip) 17. Champion Singles: Power 19 beat R. Campbell 17; Rothwell 20 beat P. Smith 16; Vincent 18 beat Town 14; Power 22 beat Jenkins 19; Campbell 18 beat Solvander 15. Ordinary game: Hopper, Eaton, B. Taylor, and Searle 27 defeated Moncur, E. Hood, E. Hogg, and Prince (skip) 20. A team representing Te Karaka. Club scored a victory over a trio skipped by J. Newton. i
