PROBING ANTARCTIC
MAWSON’S MISSION
LONDOX, Nov. .15,
Sir Douglas Mawson has arrived hero from Capetown, and will remain till Christmas in connection with the publication of the scientific results of his expedition to the Antarctic. Later he will proceed to the United States on a similar mission.
Sir Douglas estimates that there .will be another expedition to the Antarctic in a few years, “to deal with outstanding problems, which can only be settled on tire spot.” jHo expects •important results from the discovery of platinum in the Transvaal.
