CHRISTCHURCH WOOL SALE
ENCOURAGING REPORTS (Special to the Herald.) CHRISTCHURCH,' this day. The first Christchurch wool salo will be held next Wednesday, and is naturally being looked forward to, not only by the fanners of the province, but by tho business men. What prices will rule is a question that is arousing most interest. Ono authority said to-day that he thought the prices would be about equal to those ruling at Ihe sale in Christchurch last March. If this is so the prices obtained will lie better than was anticipated in some quarters. It will be remembered that the sain lust March was a good one, probably as good as any held during that season, from the point of view of tho growers.
