The draft proposals for (he treatment of private telephone lines affected by the introduction of hight-teusion cables into the district for the supply of elect tic power has been forwarded by the Power Board to the thief Telegraphic Engineer at Wellington tor his approval, and will later be advertised throughout Poverty Bay. The proposals have been described as beiio; more liberal than those made by any other Power Hoard in the Dominion.
