I For 2.4 hours the greater part of England has been enveloped in a. dense fog, which, it is forecasted, will continue tomorrow. Traffic throughout London has been complicated, and tram, train, and bus schedules are -upset. Clares appeared in the most- congestedl parts of London for fhe guidance of drivers. Six collisions, involving two trams and six trams, buses, 'and private vehicles, occurred. Several were injured. The worst instance was when two London-Esses trains collided, and 70 were, slightly hurt. A vast army of torch' carriers has been called into service to-night to aid the omnibuses,
