PROPOSED MEDICAL EXAM. (Special to tho Horald.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. “If everyone over 40 years uf age wei'o medically examined once a year many troubles would lie nipped in the bud, and much suffering, and also expense to the board, would be saved, declared the Rev. Clyde Carr at yesterday's meeting of tho North Canterbury Hospital Board. Air. Carr moved that a remit should be submitted at the annual conference of the Dominion Hospital Boards Association in Christchurch on March 2 to tho effect that there should bo compulsory medical exaifiination of all persons over 40 years of ago. “It, is just a tryout,” explained Air. Carr.
