PRIVATE BUSES SOLD
TAKEN OVER BY BOARD. CHIIIST( 'll UR 011 1 INCISION. (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, last night. All but one of the private bus services now running in opposition to the Christchurch Tramway Board are to lie taken over by the board. Whether till or any will be continued by the board is at present problematical. No definite decision on the point will be reached until the Board has ascertained from private owners the earning powers of the services. The present .sale is at the initiative of private owners. The eventual decision of tire board and the reasons weighing such decision will bo awaited by the public with interest.
