The diamond jubilee of Dr. Barruudo's Homes will be celebrated next month, fn common with other countries, an endeavor is being made to arrange an effort in aid of the Homes in each of the towns throughout New Zealand. An indication of the breadth of the operations of the movement can be gained when it is stated that in addition to the 100,000 boys and girls who have actually passed through the homes, himdredrf of thousands of other children have bad better homes, wiser and kinder parents, and a more hopeful start in life because of the 60 years of child rescue work carried on by Dr. Barnardo's Homes. It is hoped I hat generous support will be given to this very worthy cause.
