WIRELESS SUCCESS
AUCKLAND ACHIEVEMENT PENNSYLVANIA HEARD (Special to the Herald.) AUCKLAND, this day. A splendid wireless achievement was recorded by Mr. G. Fairfield, of Epsom, who picked up Pennsylvania on a twovalve set on Sunday evening. The station heard was KDKA, which was broadcasting a special test transmission for Australia on a short wave. Mr. Fairfield heard very distinctly music and a speech.
