The Daily Telegraph's Berlin correspondent says there is a ileal of indirect evidence 'hat tho German army is being prepared for a Monarchist coup d 'etat. It was recently announced that Prince Wilhclm, the o.\-Orowu PriuceV oldest son, had taken part in manoeuvres with the Ist Company of the 9th Potsdam Regiment at Mcrgenthebn. Denials have been issued saying that the Prince was only a spectator, but witnesses assert that the Prince certainly did his duty with an infantry regiment at Mmisingcii, sometimes appearing iu the uniform of lite Kaiser's army and sometimes in that of the Kcichswehr. The Prince also shared in an expedition to Hohenvollern Castle, the original home of the family, and there received a soldier's homage. The Ist Company of the 9th Regiment have taken over the traditions of the Ist Foot Guards, with whom all thcHohcny.ollerns used to be trained.
