ENGLISH FRUIT MARKET
DOMINION APPLES IN FAVOR. QUALITY RECOGNISE©; Mr. Len McKenzie, of Wellington, who is at present touring Great Britain, has been interesting himself in the prospects of this season's Dominion products on the English market. He states, inter alia:— "The apple season from one end of this country to the other is a failure, which leaves a great opening for our New Zealand fruit. "The stone fruit crop is R ood everywhere; pears fair only, and there is still a very steady demand for New Zealand apples, which are coming into greater favor with all sellers on account of their excellent packing and grading. "I find, too, amongst private families visited there is a distinct desire to purchase Empire goods, and New Zealandmadei butter was seen on many a table which it had not reached before Lord Jellicoe's speech."
