OPENED YESTERDAY A handsome now mission hall is n'e.ving completion in Gladstone road, and a large number were present for the opening service, hist evening-. The hall is' situated in Gladstone read, between Roebuck road and Disraeli street, and'is of an entirely modem design. It is built of rough-cast, and has a handsome front, with low, artistic wall and gates. The hall is well ventilated and lighted and has ample accommodation-to scat in comfort a congregation 0f.200. The exterior has - t very pleasing appearance, and Ilie 'interior is equipped with everyJonvenienco, a special classroom being m-ovidod .for Sunday school work. \t the oticni"!? service the preacher took his sublet from Mark VI., and sought to draw a picture true to the ifo of the present day, and the conditions in regard to things of God, the sermon being a most -impressive one.
