GATHERING AT HOKITIKA (Per Press issociation.J HOKITIKA, this day. A wonderfully enthusiastic gathering was held in the Town Hall last evening, tlie Mayor, Mr. Perry presiding, to entertain at supper Hokitika’s most popular citizen, Mr. W. E. Williams, a well-known chemist and chairman of the Westland Racing Club. Friends were present from all parts of New Zealand, and a presentation was made of a complete wireless set. and a substantial purse. Congratulatory messages were received front friends in all parts of the Dominion.
