It: is learnt that a prominent business man in Blackpool lias offered Ponsford an excellent business engagement it lie will play for the local team in league cricket. Ponsford has not yet decided, but his present inclination is to accept the offer. Collins and Ellis contemplate establishing a sporting venture in London early in 1927.
