Next week the Chicago-Milwaukeo-St. Paul railroad, with 11,000 miles of track, will be submitted to auction. Since the war this railway has been operated- at a financial loss, and the -met ion is part of the proceedings connected with the bankruptcy. Judge Wilkerson, under whom the bankruptcy proceedings were conducted, ruled that the auctioneer must not accept less than £25.000,000 for the property.
