ALL BLACKS AND LEAGUE RUMOR OF TRANSFERS (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, (his day. The Rugby League Council discussed tlie decision of the English Rugby Union to delete from its rules the clause debarring Rugby Union players from overseas from playing under its auspices before they have fulfilled the residon tial'qualification of two years. The chairman, Mr. Stirling, said it. was evident that in spite of the efforts to the contrary several well-known All Blacks were still seeking engagements with prominent English clubs; This year the Hull Glub applied to the New Zealand League for its approval of the transier of three All Blacks. The position was serious, and should he deterred tor fur ther consideration. Mr. Stirling’s suggestion was adopted, and it. was decided to forward a copy of the English League's letter to till affiliated leagues.
