Alma Baker from San Francisco. “These waters hid fair to become the most famous in the world. “Zane Grey will head another expedition to the Antipodes in 1927, which will be called the Zane Grey-Alma Baker New Zealand Expedition. The purpose will be a fulfilment of the pioneering expedition of 1926, which was a sporting and seientilie one to demonstrate the wonderful nature of New Zealand's fishing waters. “Among Die members of the 1927 expedition will he scientists who will study oceanology, secure and classify specimens of hitherto unknown species, study currents, reefs and fish-food conditions. “The game fish wilt be studied from the North Cape to the Bay of Plenty. The party will also include expert motion picture operators and other photographers. “The fishermen of the party will consist of Zane Grey, 18. Alma Baker, Captain L. It. Mitchell. R. C. Grey (brother of Zane Grey) and Bonier Grey, Zane Grey’s eldest son. “Zane Grey will take lo New Zealand ns mother ship, lii-s well-known threemasted Nova Scotian schooner, the Fisherman, which will carry tour speedy motor launches for work outside of New Zealand waters. A special effort will he made to -establish facts and give the sporting world the benefit thereof. It- is hoped that a most detailed sporting and educational film will result from the expedition."
