PROPOSED RESTRICTION OF IMPORTS (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) (Received Sept. 30, 1 p.m.) PARTS, Sept. 29. With a view to supporting tho franc, the Government Foodstuffs Committee had a discussion on the advisability of restricting imports replaceable by French colonial productions, including fruits, tinned goods, cheese, bacon, and chilled meat.
