RIFLE EXPLODES
YOUNG LAD INJURED BULLET THROUGH STOMACH (Per Press Association.,' (AKTKHTON, this day. Three college lads, cousins, Hector Cameron, John Roberts, and Douglas Sutherland, were playing with a rifle at Ngaipti station, Hinakura, yesterday afternoon. Cameron, who is aged 15 years, was handling' the weapon when it exploded, a bullet passing right through his stomach. The lad was taken to a private hospital tit IvPirtinLorough, n distance of 20 miles. His injuries are thought i't be serious, though not considered dangerous. The injured lad is i\ sou of Mr. and Mrs. D. Cameron, Moeraki station, Hinakura.
