FORTUNATE BOWLING CLUB LADY CARROLL'S GENEROSITY What undoubtedly constitutes a record gift in this district to a social club was made by Lady Carroll at her resident last evening, when, with her usual generous hospitality, she entertained the president and executive of the Kahutia Howling Cub, and some personal friends, and during the evening banded to the president, Mr. O. Prince, a cheque for the sum of CSCC as her donation to the-building fund in respect to the new and handsome pavilion which it is now proposed to erect at the green in Kahutia street. . The evening passed pleasantly with hon? and story and rhythmic dancing by a niece, of Lady Carroll's and before supper Ladv Carroll expressed her pleasure at meeting again with those who were doing all the could to build on wclb defined and high lines the dub which bore her grandfather's name.
