The Federal Government lias concluded an agreement with Sir Bertram M.icKennal for the completion, according to tlie original design, ol a sculptural group for the Fort'Said memorial to soldiers of the Australian and New Zealand forces, who laid down their lives in Egypt, Syria and Palestine. The group was begun by Mr. t*. YVebb-Cilbert, but was not completed at the time of his death in October last. Sir Bertram MarKennnl will deliver the group before the end of 1929.
