DECLINED ASSISTANCE CIVIL SERVICE COMPLAINTS (Elec. Tel. Copyright— United Press Assn. (Received Sept. 8. anon.) SYDNEY. Sept. 8. With one dissentient only, the Central Council ol' the Australian Clerks' Union decided to expel from their organisation Hie Premier. Mr. Long: the Minister of Lands. Mr. i.noghlin; the Minister of Health. Mr. Cann; the sectetary of the Parliamentary l-ahor Party. Mr. OTIalloran; the Chairman of Committees, Mr. Greig, and Mr. Murphy, a member of the Legislative Assembly. The allegation made against iheiu is that they failed to give off eel to ihe polv-y of the union, which for the*past eighteen months has been agitating for the betteiinont. of conditions of employment of members engaged in the Public Service.
Ministers, interviewed later, declined to comment on the position.
