FLOWER SHOW
ST. ANDREW'S GUILD SUCCESSFUL FUNCTION A very successful show of spring flowers was" held in Hie City hall this afternoon by tin' St. Andrew's Ladies <:uild. .Many .exquisite btooms \wilon exhibition, daffodils predominating in the display. Mr. U. 1. Maunder showed ii very line selection of narcissi, these being ' generally admired, and there was ill addition a large ami wellladen (lower stall where all soris of choice flowers weie on sale.
in conjunction with the flower show a sale of work was held, there being a fine assortment of all classes of pro dure on sale. The stalls wore well laden with a varied lot of goods, including- many different kinds of art'; .and crafts work. The stalls included a work stall, small goods stall, lolly stall, cake stall, china stall. and jumble stall. The effort, which is fo assist in raising funds for the work of the church, will be continued this evening, when it is anticipated that- there will again lie a vevv siood attendance.
