A return secured on the motion of Mr. .1 McCombs shows that alcoholic liquor was sent to no-license areas during 1925 as fol'ows: Ashburton, 19.868 gallons; ( India. 31.461: Eden. 9904 ; Grev Lynn. 7242; lnveicargill, 89,342; Masterton. 45.171; Matanra, 33.759; Oamaru, 22,370; Ohinemuri, 10.479: Roskill, 10,989; Wellington South, 7572; Wellington Suburbs. 11.659; total. 299,813'ga110n5, of which 275.047 comprised beer and 13.932 gallons whisky.
