The famous "Marquis," the hard spring wheat which holds the world's record for early ripening, is likely n> be superseded by a new variety called "Reward,” now under tests at the Government experimental farm. According to tests it ripens ten days earlier than "Marquis,” arid has equally good milling qualities and gives heavier yields. Measured bushels weigh as high as GlUd.*.
