AUSTRALIA BENEFITS 12 HOURS GAINED (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.: (Received September 4, 11 a.m. LONDON September 3. The Postmaster-General states that tests have shown that the new Friday morning air mail from London to Marseilles has invariably connected with the Australian mail steamers from Marseilles, thus giving the English correspondents twelve hours' advantage over the land route. It will also materially help the scheme to fly from London to India.
