The dairying season in the Auckland province is officially regarded as coinme.ncinn- on July 1, and dotal.so toe amount of butler and cheese graded and delivered bv the Auckland Farmers Freezing Co. for the first fortnight of ihe, 1&26-27 season arc now available. The figures show that a substantially better 'start has been amide this season' than last in regard to both butter and ''During the past fortnight 4216 boxes of butter were received, compared with 3772 boxes for the corresponding period of last. year, with 778 crates ol cheese were received against 442 crates last year. There is a considerable increase in the amounts of both l.utlcf and cheese on. hand at the end of Ihe first tort night of the new year. Slocks of butler total 82,302 boxes, compared with 20,545 boxes last year, and cheese on hand amounts to' 5499 crates, against 1714 crates in 1925.
