A DEFIANT SENATOR. DICTATION OF ATTITUDE. SYDNEY, July 7.\ Senator Barnes, general president of the Australian Workers’ Union, who decided to recommend support to Mr. Bruce’s referenda proposals in defiance of the Australian Workers' Union decision to oppose, has been called upon by the Australian Workers’ Union to explainl his attitude, and sign a manifesto advising Labor to oppose the proposals, [f h<j refuses, he will be relieved of office, and probably expelled.
