SHORT WAVE RADIO.
NEW YORK TIMES TESTS CEASE. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The New York Times has ceased its short-wave radio tests. Mr. Shrimptou, of Wellington, who lias picket! up the broadcast, news and supplied it to the Press. Association, has received the following message from Mr. Meinhollz, manager of the N.\ r . Times: "Please accept my personal thanks for the hearty co-operation shown in the long distance short wave tests just concluded. Starting with this message, we will not be on the air for 0403 GMT except on Sunday mornings, from 0440 GMT to C7(D GMT. We hope we can keep the same line up and exchange greetings weekly."
