MONTHLY MEETING. The monthly meeting of the Gisbonic Land Board was held yesterday. Present: Mr. IS. 11. Farnie, Commissioner of Crown Lands (in the chair), and Alessrs. R, H, Wicksteed, G. 0. Donovan, and A. C. Nolan. An apology for absence was received from Mr. J. 11. The. following business was dealt with : Application for temporary tenancy : T. Jteid. P. Horne. sections 1 and 2. block XXII.. Waiau-Putere block. 4193. 1 , acres.— Granted a yearly lea.se at £2 a month. Application for temporary tenancy: I't. section 7. block I, Motu west, formerly Arthur's, area. 60 acres. A. E. Gibson. Granted a monthly lease of 5 V feres at 5s a month on the usual conditions.
Application for postponement: Run 94, Tuahn, area 2988 acres.—Adjourned till next meeting. Renewal of iS.G.R, lease : Run No. 29 (Lot 2). area 1984 acres, lessee A. C. Steele.—Appointment of arbitrator left in Commissioner's hands. Renewal of S.G.R. lease :S.G.R. No. 29, Hangaroa. J. B. von Pern. —As above. Renewal of S.G.R. lease : Run No. 30, Hangaroa, G. IT. Mbrice.—As above. Renewal of S.G.R. lease: Run No. 65, Tlior. Williams.—As above.
Non-payment of interest : Section 5, Blfc I, Motu West, 1503 acres.—Adjourned. Proposed: forfeiture: Section 1, block XVI., Waiawii, 799 acres.—Adjourned.
Application for further advance: Lossoee of section 5, block XIV.. Matakaoa, 1126 acres.—The action of the Commis sioner was confirmed.
Non-payment of rent: Section 3, block I, Motu'West, 1578 acres.—Adjourned till the August meeting. Non-payment of rent: Section 16s, Mukutaia Settlement, 96 acres.—Adjourned till 'next meeting. Non-payment of rent: Section 7, block XV., and section 2. block 111., Waioeka, 1526 acres.—Adjourned.
Forfeiture for abandonment: Section 4. block XV., Waiawa, area 633 acres.— Adiournod till the July meeting. Non-payment of rent : Section Is. Repongaere.—Given until tlio next meeting to show cause why the land should not be forfeited'.
Non-payment of principal: Section 1, block XL, Ngatapa Settlement, _ 455 acres.—Adjourned till. January meeting. Non-payment of rent, etc. : Section 12s, Obuka. Settlement, area 593 acres.— Forfeited.
Proposed forfeiture, for non-payment of rant: Section 4s, Earemata Settlement, 172 acres.—No action taken.
